Vesties Team Welcoming Committee Volunteers 4

welcome-2To be a part of this team means more than just selling vintage on Etsy, it means you take the time to interact with other team members. To virtually meet like minded individuals and form friendships. To help each other out whether it’s determining a maker on a fabulous vintage find or supporting the loss of a loved one. As the saying goes, there is no “I” in Team. Today we shine a spotlight on some of those members who go above and beyond for our team.

These women make up the Vesties Team Welcoming Committee. Our Welcoming Committee is in charge of helping onboard our newest members of the team. They greet each new member and assist in navigating the team threads, answer questions regarding the team and how it operates, and generally act as a friend to introduce our members to each other and make them feel at home. If you are new to the team, I’m sure you have met some of them already, if you have been here a while, you’ve seen them around on the team threads. Please join me in thanking Lynn from Eight Mile Vintage, Annie from The Log Chateau, Loretta from Moonstruck Cottage and Mimi from Creeklife Treasures.

Eight Mile Vintage has been on Etsy since 2012. Lynn has two shops. She sells fabulous mid century home goods, kitchen items, and decor, as well as some amazing Bakelite jewelry.  Her second shop is dedicated to vintage and contemporary sewing patterns. She is based in Toronto, Canada and has sold to national magazines, T.V., movies, and live theatre productions.

The Log Chateau has been on Etsy since 2009. Annie has a fabulous eclectic mix of vintage items. She is located in Dubuque, Iowa by way of Chicago. She stocks some adorable collectibles and home decor items, as well as a huge selection of Precious Moments figurines. Annie also has a great selection of vintage cook books.

Moonstruck Cottage is based in New Rochelle, New York and has been on Etsy since 2010. Loretta has been in the antique and vintage business for over 30 years giving her a wealth of knowledge. She stocks everything from paintings to furniture and kitchen goods to jewelry.

Creeklife Treasures based in Hampstead, North Carolina has been on Etsy since 2012 and has over 1800 sales. Mimi carries everything from vintage primitive and industrial items to delicate dolls and porcelain. She also stocks fabulous beach finds including shells and rocks and makes wonderful hat/coat racks from weathered wood and beach stones.

Please keep their shops in mind while doing your holiday shopping this year.  And say hello when you see them on the team threads. These women work hard to create a welcoming atmosphere here on the Vesties Team. Show them your support and let them know how much you appreciate their efforts.

You can be a Vesties Team Volunteer too. Just contact any team leader.

About Pam - VintageRenude

Some of my earliest memories are of digging through my Grandma's buttons, hankies, and jewelry. She taught me to see the beauty in everyday items made to last.

I love having the opportunity to meet and greet new Vesties members. I’m always happy to lend a hand any way I can. As the saying goes, “It Takes A Village.” I feel proud and privileged to live in the Vintage Etsy Society Village. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all of my Vesties team members. Annie

Thanks to all of you for welcoming new members to Vesties. And…a special thanks to Annie of The Log Chateau for the really warm welcome that you gave to me personally. Headed over to your shops to see what I can find to pin.
