Weekly Wardrobe Post: Halloween Edition 4

Sorry I am posting this on the wrong day folks!  Wednesday got away from me and Thursdays always do.  BUT nevertheless, here in live and living color (kind of) is your Weekly Wardrobe Post!

This week, because that spookiest holiday of all is right around the corner, I wanted to encourage all of you readers out there to think vintage for your Halloween Costumes. I LOVE this example by Mandi over at Here’s looking at You Kid.  I’ve featured her before, but she has such great ideas for vintage and is the only fashion blogger that I have found that really wears vintage 99.99% of the time.  She’s rare and she’s awesome.   This week’s vintage-inspired costume is taken from Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds and is oh so stylish and spooky too!

I hear rumor that she is going to continue to do Halloween inspired costumes throughout the season so be sure to check it out!
AND
***SHOP TIP FOR HALLOWEEN FOR VINTAGE SHOP OWNERS***
Add “Halloween costume” and other such phrases in your titles and tags right now (the season is almost over!).  People love vintage and thrift finds for Halloween costumes because they can use them after Halloween.  Promote this idea and give customers ideas on what to dress as using your vintage clothing in the description!  Do it before the zombies attack 🙂

I love this! and I loved tippy's outfit in the movie. what a creepy movie but i remember watching it when a neighbor boy came pounding on the back sliding glass door….( in the dark of night and only my sister and I were home) we jumped out of our seats and practically hit the ceiling!
fond memories of a fun youth!

I remember going to see this movie and then there was a slumber party. It was at Beverly Button's house and she had a fireplace just like the one in the movie! We had to put the coffee table turned on it's side in front of the fireplace. Her mom came downstairs the next day and just laughed when she saw it!
