Hello, fellow Vesties! I just got back from an early morning grocery shopping trip, and I can’t believe how Autumnal the stores are looking already! I’m looking forward to all of it – from the fresh apples to the new boots I plan on buying in the next couple of months. But one of the things I love most about the change from Summer to Autumn is the shift in color palettes – pastels are traded in for warm, cozy earth tones, and summer-time brights get swapped for bold jewel tones. There’s a certain warmth and sophistication to Fall’s palette that is so uniquely and wonderfully Autumn!

This week’s winner’s shop, La Biblioteca, is full of all kinds of vintage lovelies that fit perfectly into the realm of Fall colors. Each piece is photographed atop a warm, weathered wooden surface that gives everything that lovely earthy glow that Fall is known for! Add on top of that rich hues of brown, gold, amber, maroon, and olive – well, Adriana’s shop seems to have all the colors of Fall foliage!

So this week, I thought we could all pay tribute Autumn’s fantastic color palette with the theme, ‘Fall Colors’. Any theme you can dream up is fair game – from back to school to early Halloween prep – just make sure your collection has a decidedly Autumnal color scheme. Think earth tones, warm hues, and deep jewel tones – or whatever color helps put you in a Fall state of mind!
But before you get out your color wheel, there are a few rules to follow:
The challenge starts right… NOW! And it runs through Sunday night – the entry thread will be closed early Monday morning, so get ’em in by then!
Please make sure your treasury follows the theme ‘Fall Colors’.
It is important that you include (6) Vestie team members, and try to include some of the new members! Use the sidebar on the blog for a list of team shops. New members can be found in the New Team Member Section of the Team Member Page.
– All sixteen squares must be filled… and they must still be filled on Monday when the judge is making his or her decision. Please double-check your treasury Sunday night to make sure everything’s where you left it.
– Don’t include any items from your own shop.
– Put a link to the blog post in the comments of your treasury. This helps other people find the challenge and enter!
