One thing Vesties team members know a little something about is how important it is to do things you love, to follow your passion. For most of us, one of those passions is to set aside some time to hunt and gather treasures for our own collection and sometimes even our shops. But what else do we love? What else makes us happy? This week’s challenge is finding the happy in everyday life, this week it’s time to follow your “Bliss.”
Last week’s challenge winner, Joy from BrisNanaJoy has a shop full of things to be happy about.

But before you start your “Bliss” treasuries, there are a few rules to follow:
And if you’re a Vesties team member…
The challenge is open to all! Have fun–be happy–find your bliss. |
A personal statement from the guest treasury czar: For some people, running is bliss. As a runner, a graduate of Newtown High School and a Bostonian for the past 36 years, I know that 27,000 runners started their day hoping to find their bliss by crossing the finish line in Copley Square. I know that the mile marker at Mile 26 was dedicated to the children and teachers from Sandy Hook. And I know that the only heartbreak at the Boston Marathon should be the stretch that goes up and up and up called Heartbreak Hill. And creaky old feet willing, maybe next year will be the time to stop dreaming about running Boston and instead follow my bliss from Hopkinton all the way to my most beloved Back Bay. Best thoughts and kindest wishes to all the runners and their families. Respectfully submitted by Laurie aka RecentHistory.
Laurie, your note was moving and so genuine. I attended Sandy Hook Elementary school from 63-68. My heart broke for Newtown and the residents. But your connection to all these tragedies goes far deeper. I pray that you can find your bliss again and glean strength from that which makes you happy. God bless. ~ your fellow vestie Mia (Maria) Bolsters Mills.
