Match Game: Fly with me 13

Monday means Match Game, a team challenge for Vesties to find a cool piece of vintage in their shop that matches the theme of the week

Here’s how it works:

  • every other week a theme is posted on MONDAY
  • you reply to the challenge post with ONE item from your shop (Etsy or your own site) and a few words about why you chose that item.
  • at the end of the week, our own highly Selective Linda will create a collage with some of her favorite submissions.

The theme this week is fly. Fly is simple three letter word, yet how many directions it can lead to. There’s the traditional meaning, the kind of fly where you need the wind beneath your wings. Then there’s the fly as a descriptor meaning super cool. There’s the fly that’s the theatrical term for the area above the stage. And there’s the fly you check to make sure is it’s zipped before you leave the house. What other things fly? Your imagination, we hope!

This week’s challenge is to find a match in your shop that can fly one way or another. Post one item from your shop that is fly or does fly and explain to our readers why you chose that particular piece of vintage.
