Treasury Challenge #84 – Week of August 28th 2

Hello, fellow Vesties! Well, there’s no denying it any more – Fall is on its way and Summer is on the way out. The stores are full of binders and folders and markers and bouquets of yellow pencils, and the school buses in my neighborhood are going on practice runs. While I may not be going back to school myself, I can’t help but get into the spirit of it all!

This week’s winner’s shop, Diane’s Closet, is full of all kinds of vintage lovelies that are perfect for getting into the spirit of back to school fun! Fantastic vintage frocks to make you look even smarter than your professors, gorgeous old books to get you that ‘A’, and fun retro housewares to make your dorm room the coolest!

So this week, I thought we could all join in on the frenzy with the theme, ‘Back to School’. Whether you’re sending your little one off for the first day of kindergarten or reminiscing about your college days, this week is the time to think academically – and creatively! Make a tribute to your favorite subject or even recess – it’s all up to you!!

But before you start sharpening pencils, there are a few rules to follow:

The challenge starts right… NOW! And it runs through Sunday night – the entry thread will be closed early Monday morning, so get ’em in by then!

Please make sure your treasury follows the theme ‘Back to School’.

It is important that you include (6) Vestie team members, and try to include some of the new members! Use the sidebar on the blog for a list of team shops. New members can be found in the New Team Member Section of the Team Member Page.

– All sixteen squares must be filled… and they must still be filled on Monday when the judge is making his or her decision. Please double-check your treasury Sunday night to make sure everything’s where you left it.
– Don’t include any items from your own shop.
– Put a link to the blog post in the comments of your treasury. This helps other people find the challenge and enter!
