Please tell us a little about you and your shop.

My day job is in Marketing and Advertising Graphic Design. I live in the woods of Pennsylvania along with my husband and three mischievous cats in an old home that helps provide me inspiration (and the occasional bout of poison ivy)

. The Lost Rooms started in 2009. The name came from my memories of our 1800s ancestral family home. A home that was packed with left overs from generations of family members who have stayed there at one time or another. You could get lost (and lose) things in those rooms. As children,my cousins and I could dress up in actual roaring twenties dresses for Halloween.




What is your favorite era and why? 

My favorite periods in time date from around the 1860s to the 1910s. The era of the Belle Epoque…..Downtown Abbey, and on into Art Deco up to anything pre WWI. The decadence, elegance, and amazing workmanship that came from those glory days fascinate me.



What is your favorite item in the shop at the moment and why? 

A favorite item from my shop is always the one that photographed well and easily so, of course the object itself varies.
