If you distill running an Etsy shop down to it’s essential elements, you get a test tube full of art, one full of diligence, one full of true vintage and one full of numbers. The art can be elusive if your Muse isn’t feeling it. Sometimes diligence is overridden by the allure of a perfect day that is better spent doing things that are not Etsy related. Sometimes our Spidey-senses let us down and the thing we are pretty sure is true vintage turns out to be something recently sold at Tarjay. But the numbers, the numbers don’t let us down.
Lots of our Etsy numbers are goals, like the number of views we hope for in a day, the number of listings to be posted in a week or the number of hours you allocate to work your shop. Maybe it’s a goal for the number of listings you want in your shop. Let’s say you had a shop with 488 listings. You must might be shooting for 500. And as it turns out, Pam’s awesome shop does, at this very moment, have 488 items. So this week, let’s shine a spotlight on the numbers of Etsy.

It is also amazing to see how many different ways this talented team will interpret the weekly theme. This week was the perfect example; we had everything from gambling and cooking to mid century modern and country dancing. They were all spectacular!
It was not easy to select a winner, but in the end I chose Marley’s Set Me Straight
I loved the neutral backdrop with the gorgeous pops of color. It was a showcase of beautiful Etsy photography and fun vintage items.”
