Shop of The Week – Now And Then Style 6

1. Can you tell us a little bit about you and your shop?
I have been wearing Vintage since before it was hip.
In the early 1970s, my bestie & I realized that the best way to stand out in the crowd was to wear Vintage.
As a singer / songwriter, I always incorporate Vintage into my stage wear. Mixing eras gives me a signature look.
In the 1990s, I had a booth in an antique mall & I always dressed in Vintage when I worked there.
Then I discovered the other e-place & started selling there. I opened my etsy shop in 2008.
My goal is to offer the best customer service & price points possible.
I truly enjoy selling on etsy and the patrons & friends I have gained here.
2. What is your favourite era and why?
I absolutely adore the 1940s. I think I was born too late or lived before (maybe more than once).

The tailoring, details, and fabrics just knock me out!
To me, there is nothing sharper than a 40s gabardine suit. It’s such a sexy, empowered look.

3. What is your favourite item in your shop at the moment?
My favourite item in my shop right now is the Rare Original Pro-Choice Leader’s Pin from the early 1980s.
It is a limited edition. These were only given to the actual regional leaders of the movement.
It’s historical and symbolizes a cause that’s close to my heart.
